Why Choose Renuance for Your Rhinoplasty?
Rhinoplasty FAQ
How do you make sure my new nose looks natural?
We aim for results that enhance your face, not stand out. During your visit, we’ll talk about what you want and show you how your new nose could look. Remember, the goal is to improve your look, not change who you are.
Will I have scars after my nose job?
For open rhinoplasty, there’s a tiny scar on the strip of skin between your nostrils. It’s usually so small that most people can’t see it unless they’re looking close up.
How long will I need to take off work?
Most people go back to work or school in 1-2 weeks. If your job involves heavy lifting or lots of moving around, you might need 3-4 weeks off. We’ll help you plan your time off based on what you do.
What are the risks, and how do you keep them low?
Like any surgery, there can be risks like bleeding or infection. Sometimes, people aren’t happy with how their nose looks. We lower these risks by planning carefully, using the best techniques, and giving you clear instructions before and after surgery. We’re always here to answer your questions, too.
Can you fix my breathing while making my nose look better?
Absolutely! We often improve breathing and appearance at the same time. If you have trouble breathing through your nose, let us know. We can check inside your nose and fix any blockages while we reshape it.
How soon will I see my final results?
You’ll see a big change right after the cast comes off, usually after a week. But your nose will keep settling into its new shape for months. Most swelling is gone after 3-4 months, but tiny changes can happen for up to a year. We’ll be with you every step of the way to check your progress.
What if I'm not happy with how my nose turns out?
Most of our patients love their results, but if you’re not happy, talk to us. Sometimes, small touch-ups in our office can help. If bigger changes are needed, we might suggest a second surgery, but only after your nose has fully healed, which takes about a year.
Will my health insurance cover my nose job?
If you’re getting a nose job just to change how you look, insurance usually doesn’t cover it. But if you’re having trouble breathing and we’re fixing that, insurance might pay for part of it. We can help you check with your insurance company to see what they’ll cover.
How much pain will I be in after rhinoplasty?
Most of our patients say it’s not as bad as they thought it would be. You’ll feel stuffy and sore, like having a bad cold, but not sharp pain. We’ll give you medicine to help you feel comfortable. Most people switch to over-the-counter pain relievers after a few days.
