About Dr. Taurek

Dr. Taurek earned her undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of California, San Diego, before completing her medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine. She continued her training at Loma Linda University Medical Center, where she completed her internal medicine internship and residency, followed by a term as chief resident in internal medicine at the Jerry L. Pettis Veterans’ Administration Medical Center.

After years of practicing internal medicine, Dr. Taurek transitioned into aesthetic medicine to continue caring for patients while exploring the intersection of medicine, technology, and artistry. Her approach emanates from a holistic understanding of the full picture, considering how facial structure, skin quality, and the aging process all work in tandem.

Dr. Taurek also values honest recommendations. If she does not believe a treatment is the right option for a patient, she would much rather guide them toward alternatives than recommend a procedure that does not serve their goals.
