I had an absolutely incredible experience with Dr. Ford and the entire support staff at Renuance! After a year of debating a breast lift and augmentation and countless hours scouring the internet for the best reviewed plastic surgeons in the San Diego/Temecula/LA area, I finally started scheduling consults at the begging on 2026. Dr. Ford was my third and final consult and I knew instantly she was the doctor for me! I was ready to book before the consult was over - it was the first time the meeting felt more like a conversation and not just a formality. Vinny was so incredibly friendly and helpful in scheduling and all of my pre surgery questions. I was shocked when the anesthesiologist reached out to me a day or 2 before surgery just to ask if I had any questions or concerns. This conversation quickly quieted any pre surgery jitters I had. Day of surgery was a breeze. Dr. Ford really made me feel safe and cared for before surgery. I’ve never had any type of surgery before but with her confidence and incredible bedside manner, I never felt even a bit nervous while waiting in pre op. The prep and recovery nurses were also wonderful. Magaly is always so pleasant to work with and helps keep me on schedule for all of my check ups. Recovery has been easier than I expected. I am beyond thrilled with the results. A huge thank you to Dr. Ford and the entire Renuance staff for making this such an amazing process. I would trust Dr. Ford with any of my cosmetic surgery needs.

When you arrive, you’ll meet with the same coordinator from your initial call. Together, you’ll review your initial conversation before meeting with your doctor to discuss treatment details. This is your opportunity to ask any questions and get a clearer outlook on your treatment. After your consultation, you’ll receive a quote matching the initial price range.

Treatment

Your skin tightening therapy takes place in one of our private treatment rooms away from other patients.

If you are undergoing treatment with ReNuvion, we will administer tumescent fluid to the target area as a numbing agent; ThermiSmooth typically does not require numbing. If you need additional pain relief, we can offer MKO Melt, a mild oral sedative, to improve your level of comfort.

Depending on your treatment option, the process can range from 10 minutes to an hour. Once you’re done, you’ll receive after-care instructions to help you achieve optimal results. Some discomfort is normal after ReNuvion treatment, but that can be managed with over-the-counter pain medications.

ReNuvion treatments typically last around 60 minutes, while ThermiSmooth sessions range from 5 to 30 minutes, depending on the treatment area. During your consultation, we’ll provide a precise time estimate tailored to your specific needs and concerns.

Is the procedure painful?

Most patients report minimal discomfort during their treatment. Our advanced technologies incorporate cooling methods, and we can provide local anesthesia to ensure your comfort. Many patients describe the sensation as a warm, gentle massage that is entirely tolerable.

How many treatments will I need?

Treatment plans are highly individualized. For ReNuvion, you’ll just need one treatment to see results which will come over a 6-12 month period. ThermiSmooth typically requires three to six treatments spaced several weeks apart.
