About Dr. Chung

He completed his distinguished plastic surgery training at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Hospital, specializing in both aesthetic surgery and complex reconstructive microsurgery. His academic contributions include numerous research projects and articles published in world-renowned medical journals, earning him accolades such as the America’s Top Plastic Surgeons Award.

After training, Dr. Chung proudly served as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon in the U.S. Navy, taking his skills to the frontline providing reconstructive care to wounded heroes returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. He also participated in global humanitarian missions aboard U.S. Navy hospital ships, a deeply rewarding experience that brought smiles to underserved patients worldwide.

Dr. Chung chose plastic surgery because of its profound power to transform lives, boosting a patient’s confidence and self-image in just a matter of hours.
