Academic Journey

Dr. Eichenberg’s academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in biomedical science from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He then advanced to Georgetown University, School of Medicine in Washington, DC, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine and met his future wife. Following their graduation, the couple moved to Southern California. Dr. Eichenberg completed his internship in surgery and residencies in general surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California.

His leadership extends to his role as the Chief of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Riverside University Health System (RUHS), where he sets the bar for surgical excellence. Residing in the scenic locale of Del Mar with his wife, Dr. Eichenberg is a fervent advocate of a healthy, active lifestyle. A fitness enthusiast, he actively engages in weight training, CrossFit, half marathons, and triathlons, embracing the vitality of the outdoors alongside his two dogs. His passion for exploring diverse cultures shines through in his love for travel.

From the moment I walked in the office everyone was very friendly and accomodating. They made me feel at ease and comfortable. I waited approx 10min for my appoitment including while i was filling out my paperwork. I felt like the MD and the nurse had enough time to spend with me and were not rushing. Not only are my surgical results more than amazing, Dr Eichenberg and his staff are a class act. Whether it be for product, consults, surgery and/or post op visits I'm always treated as VIP and always genuinely taken care of. I am happy with Dr. Eichenberg because he really listens to what I want. I told him I cared more about shape than about scar-placement and that I wanted my nipples more centered and higher than is often done in breast lifts. He followed the spirit of what I asked for exactly. Further, while he is very profession in demeanor, he has a human quality that completely lacking in the other surgeons I had consults with (who seemed to think themselves to be gods). I also was very happy with how the anesthesiologist discussed everything with me and allowed me to refuse the anti-nausea meds that I didn''t want. Price matters too. I can afford to go have multiple surgeries at Renuance. I probably would have stopped after my arm lift at a higher-priced practice, but because Dr. Eichenberg''s prices are not prohibitive, I came back for a breast lift and am planning a tummy-tuck and a thigh lift over the next 18 months.

Breast Augmentation can be and sometimes is still looked down upon in society. Dr. Eichenberg's office and staff were not judgmental, nor did they laugh at any silly" or "absurd" questions. One of the best things about this practice other than the 3-D imaging of before and after, is the fact that it did not feel like a "wham-bam, thank you, ma'am" type of establishment. They truly cared about how you feel, your concerns, and your satisfaction. Overall definitely the best place to go for Breast Augmentation."

Everyone was friendly and explained every step of the procedure. I felt comfortable asking any questions and sharing my concerns. I never felt rushed during pre or post appointments and felt like they sincerely wanted me to be satisfied with my results.

I had known of two people who used this doctor so that helps with my decision. We have had other medical issues come up so I might have to delay.

Dr. Eichenberg is a doll and relieved any embarrassment I had about the need for the procedure. I was also embarrassed I even wanted it, but he validated everything I was feeling by just saying It's going to be great." Also his preop nurse was the best! It's the kind of office atmosphere that makes you look in the mirror and say "well, maybe I should go back and have them fix this!" "

Through the whole process I was treated respectfully and all questions and concerns were addressed. I felt confident in the work they were going to do and that I would get the desired results.

Staff, nurses, surgeon the anesthesiologist were all very respectful. Everyone was helpful and answered just about every question or concern. I very pleased with my surgical results and I could not be more happier. I will recommend to friends.
