Each employee that I interacted with was very kind and welcoming. What stood out to me was the call I received from Vinny prior to my appointment where she gave me lots of information on the facility and Dr. Ford. Dr. Ford and Vinny are both kind and very thorough when they deliver information to prospective and current patients. They always made themselves available if I had any questions or concerns and I never once felt pressured or rushed during my appointment or decision making process. I love that I was able to spend time with Dr. Ford herself during my initial consultation. Getting to interact with the person who could potentially be performing a surgery on you makes you feel much more comfortable and reassured versus only interacting with another employee who would not be performing the surgery. The entire experience was amazing and I have no criticisms or suggestions for improvement.

Dr. Ford and her staff are friendly and professional and exhibit care and empathy. I've been to many surgical offices for quotes in the past but this one has the Best personalities and customer service. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE in the office is super nice and helpful, unlike many other surgery centers. Dr. Ford takes her time and I went off her personal suggestions to improve aesthetics in my breasts appearance. Her recommendation has the best fit and outcome for my body and my girls look amazing. Chelsea was so sweet and explained everything to me, It was my first time and this meant a lot! The procedure itself was amazing and painless with fabulous results, however, having Chelsea walk me through everything from expectations to how the procedure would play out, was the best part.

Your Lip Filler Treatment

On the day of your treatment, your specialist will clean your lips and apply numbing cream to help you avoid any discomfort. Using microcannulas, they’ll inject the filler in the areas needed to achieve your desired results. The process takes 15-30 minutes. You can resume normal activities right after, with fuller lips to show off.

Lip Fillers FAQ

How long do lip fillers last?

Most lip fillers last between 6 to 8 months, depending on the product used and your body’s metabolism. The filler gradually dissipates over that time. Some people want them refilled as they see the filler dissipating to maintain a certain volume. Some will wait a year. Others may have more placed within the next month for more volume. It is all dependent on the patient’s goals.

Will lip fillers make my lips look unnatural or "duck-like"?

Not at all. We aim for natural-looking results that enhance your lips without appearing overdone. We’ll work with you to determine the right amount of filler for your desired look while maintaining a natural appearance.

How much downtime should I expect after lip fillers?

There’s minimal downtime with lip fillers. You might experience some swelling and bruising for 24-48 hours. Most patients return to normal activities immediately, but we recommend avoiding strenuous exercise for 24 hours after treatment.

Are lip fillers painful?

We use fillers containing lidocaine and can apply a topical numbing cream before the procedure to minimize discomfort. Most patients describe the sensation as a slight pinch or pressure, but not particularly painful.

Can I still kiss after getting lip fillers?

Yes, but we recommend waiting at least 24 hours after the procedure before engaging in any activities that put pressure on your lips, including kissing. This allows the filler to settle and reduces the risk of displacement.

What if I don't like the results of my lip fillers?

One of the benefits of hyaluronic acid fillers is that they’re reversible. If you’re unhappy with your results, we can dissolve the filler with an enzyme called hyaluronidase. However, this is rarely necessary as most patients are pleased with their results.

Can lip fillers help with the smoker's lines around the mouth?

Yes, lip fillers can help soften fine lines around the mouth, including smoker’s lines. We may use a combination of lip and perioral (around the mouth) injections for optimal results.

How soon will I see results from lip fillers?

You’ll see an immediate increase in lip volume after the procedure. However, there may be some initial swelling. Your final results will be visible after about two weeks when any swelling has subsided.

Can I get lip fillers if I have cold sores?

If you’re prone to cold sores, let us know before your treatment. We may recommend taking an antiviral medication before the procedure to reduce the risk of an outbreak. Having an active cold sore would mean postponing your treatment.

Will my lips feel different after fillers?

Initially, your lips may feel slightly firm or “different.” This sensation typically resolves within a few weeks as the filler settles and integrates with your tissue. Most patients report that their lips feel natural once healed.

How often can I get lip fillers?

We recommend waiting until your previous filler has mostly dissolved before getting a new treatment. For most people, this means getting touch-ups every 6-12 months. Frequent overfilling can stretch the lip tissue over time, so we aim for a balanced approach.
