Most Botox injections take 30 minutes or less. Your appointment may take longer if you combine Botox with dermal fillers or other cosmetic treatments. While there is no need for anesthesia, your injector may apply a topical anesthetic to improve your comfort.
Expect minor bruising, swelling, and redness at the injection sites immediately after treatment. These effects typically subside within hours. Botox starts working immediately, but you can expect full results within 7 days.
