I'm very happy with the laser hair removal I received at this clinic. I purchased a 6-month treatment plan for my underarms, bikini area, and full legs. In my underarms and bikini area, the hair stopped growing completely by the second-to-last session, but I still completed the treatment. Regarding my legs, after the last session, a few stray hairs have appeared in different areas—very few and thinner. I'm currently getting a touch-up on my legs. Procedure

On the day of your surgery, you’ll find a VIP parking spot reserved for you. It’s close to our private entrance for surgical patients.

Once inside, our team will guide you to a private area away from other patients, where you can get changed. If family members accompany you, they can relax in a dedicated waiting area. The body lift typically lasts 2-3 hours.

Your procedure will be performed in a fully-equipped operating room with a licensed anesthesiologist present. Afterwards, you’ll rest in our recovery area under the care of experienced nurses.

How soon after massive weight loss can I have a body lift?

We generally recommend waiting at least 6-12 months after reaching your goal weight before having a body lift. This allows your weight to stabilize and your skin to shrink as much as possible naturally. It also ensures you’re in optimal health for surgery. During your consultation, we’ll assess your individual situation and advise on the best timing for your procedure.

What's the recovery time for a body lift?

Most patients return to light activities within 2-3 weeks, but full recovery can take 6-8 weeks. You’ll need to avoid strenuous exercise and heavy lifting for about 6-8 weeks. We’ll provide a detailed recovery timeline during the consultation.

Will I have visible scars after a body lift?

Yes, body lift surgery does result in scars. However, we place incisions in areas that can be hidden by most clothing and swimwear. These scars typically fade and flatten over time with proper care.

How much weight will I lose from a body lift?

While you may lose some weight from the removal of excess skin, a body lift is not a weight loss procedure. The amount varies but can be anywhere from 5-15 pounds. The most significant change will be in your body shape and contour.

Can I combine a body lift with other procedures?

Removing loose skin can reduce chafing, rashes, and the weight of overhanging skin. This often makes exercise and daily activities much easier and more enjoyable. How much pain should I expect after a body lift?

You’ll experience some discomfort, particularly in the first week. We’ll prescribe pain medication to keep you comfortable. Most patients find the pain manageable and report it improves significantly after the first week.
