I love, love, love Renuance Cosmetic Surgery. Their staff is the best! They are ALL Super friendly, professional, knowledgeable and caring. Dr.Hill is an amazing plastic surgeon who did my lipo 360 and breast implants. I had botox done from Miss Chelsea whom is super friendly. Miss Vinny (Senior patient care coordinator), took care of my information and helped me with my payment plan process. They are very professional and informative on all questions and doubts I had. Miss Maggie who works in front desk always greats you with a positive energy that alleviates your mind and helps you ease your anxiety or nervousness. Dr. Ford and her staff are friendly and professional and exhibit care and empathy. I am happy with Dr. Eichenberg because he really listens to what I want. I told him I cared more about shape than about scar-placement and that I wanted my nipples more centered and higher than is often done in breast lifts. He followed the spirit of what I asked for exactly. Further, while he is very profession in demeanor, he has a human quality that completely lacking in the other surgeons I had consults with (who seemed to think themselves to be gods). I also was very happy with how the anesthesiologist discussed everything with me and allowed me to refuse the anti-nausea meds that I didn''t want. Price matters too. I can afford to go have multiple surgeries at Renuance. I probably would have stopped after my arm lift at a higher-priced practice, but because Dr. Eichenberg''s prices are not prohibitive, I came back for a breast lift and am planning a tummy-tuck and a thigh lift over the next 18 months.

How long does an arm lift surgery take?

A typical arm lift procedure takes about 2-3 hours. If you’re combining it with other surgeries, it may take longer. We’ll provide a more precise estimate during your consultation based on your specific needs.

Will I have visible scars after an arm lift?

Yes, arm lift surgery does result in a scar that typically runs from the armpit to the elbow on the inner part of the arm. While visible, we place it in the least noticeable position possible. Most patients find that the improved arm contour outweighs concerns about scarring.

How long is the recovery period after an arm lift?

Most patients can return to light activities within 1-2 weeks. Full recovery, including returning to strenuous arm exercises, usually takes about 4-6 weeks. We’ll provide you with a detailed recovery timeline based on your specific case.

Can I combine an arm lift with liposuction?

Yes, many patients benefit from combining an arm lift with liposuction for optimal contouring. This allows us to remove excess fat before tightening the skin. We’ll discuss whether this combination is right for you during your consultation.

The results of an arm lift can be long-lasting, especially if you maintain a stable weight and healthy lifestyle. However, natural aging will continue to affect your skin over time. Taking care of your skin and staying fit can help prolong your results.

How soon after massive weight loss can I have an arm lift?

We generally recommend waiting until your weight has been stable for at least 6 months before having an arm lift. This ensures your body has adjusted to your new weight and that you’re in optimal health for surgery.

Will an arm lift help with underarm skin laxity?

Yes, an arm lift can significantly improve underarm skin laxity. The procedure removes excess skin and fat, creating a smoother, tighter appearance in the underarm area as well as the upper arm.

Can I wear deodorant after an arm lift?

You’ll need to avoid deodorant for a short period after surgery to prevent irritation to your incisions. We’ll let you know when it’s safe to resume using deodorant, typically after your incisions have healed, usually within 1-2 weeks.

Will I have drains after an arm lift?

In some cases, we may place temporary drains to remove excess fluid and reduce swelling. Not all patients require drains, and if needed, they’re usually removed within a week. We’ll discuss whether you might need drains during your consultation.
