Board-certified plastic surgeon Rachel Ford, MD, brings a scientific background, cutting-edge techniques, and a detailed eye to her patients at Renuance Cosmetic Surgery & MedSpa. Following undergraduate school, Dr. Ford earned a Master’s degree in Forensic Sciences from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She then obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Louisville in Kentucky, where she graduated first in her class. Dr. Ford completed her six-year residency at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California, focusing on plastic and reconstructive surgery. During this time, her research was presented at local and national academic meetings. She even traveled to Hangzhou, China, to perform operations with other plastic surgeons.

Dr. Ford brings her global knowledge and collaborative spirit with her to each consultation. Her passion for superior results and problem-solving allows her to tailor her surgery plans to your needs; making sure the procedures selected during your treatment plan work together to create transformative results. She performs a wide range of procedures at Renuance, including facial surgery, breast surgery and body contouring. She is also known for making beautiful new belly buttons for people, which is why people call Dr. Ford the Belly Button Queen. Academic Journey

Dr. Eichenberg’s academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in biomedical science from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He then advanced to Georgetown University, School of Medicine in Washington, DC, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine and met his future wife. Following their graduation, the couple moved to Southern California. Dr. Eichenberg completed his internship in surgery and residencies in general surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California.

Residing in the scenic locale of Del Mar with his wife, Dr. Eichenberg is a fervent advocate of a healthy, active lifestyle. A fitness enthusiast, he actively engages in weight training, CrossFit, half marathons, and triathlons, embracing the vitality of the outdoors alongside his two dogs.
